The Stanford 'Wide' is the exact same bridle as the standard Stanford, just with slightly wider cheekpieces and noseband side straps. These straps are 3/4".
The Anatomic Line bridles from Schockemohle are a range of bridles constructed and adapted to the horse's anatomy. The bridles allow the horse to feel comfortable while working and able to produce a soft outline and a free way of going.
The unique anatomic headpiece has been specifically designed to reduce pressure around the sensitive poll area. The headpiece is wide, with just the right amount of padding to ensure comfort and unrestricted space for the horse's ears.
The shaped noseband of this bridle has the Anatomic Line cut out to make space for the cheek bones and is softly padded throughout with a pull-back crank style closure under the jaw, making it easier to fasten and reducing the chance of pinching. The Stanford comes with two browbands - one with a single row of delicate crystals, and a spare browband that is plain.
