Imperial Riding kids' sizes are based on the child's height in cm (e.g. size 140 = approx. 140 cm tall). For the best fit, take a chest, waist and hip measurement and cross-reference with height.

How to measure:

Chest — around the fullest part of the chest, tape horizontal and comfortably snug.
Waist — around the natural waistline (narrowest part of the torso).
Hip — around the fullest part of the hips.

If a measurement falls between two sizes, or the child is growing fast, size up.

This size chart is a guideline. Measurements are body measurements, not garment measurements — garments are cut to allow room for movement. Styles with a more fitted cut (e.g. competition shirts, technical base layers) may run snugger; relaxed styles may run looser. If in doubt, size up.

A round-neck t-shirt from Imperial Riding in a 95% cotton, 5% elastane jersey with a regular fit, comfortable for everyday wear at the yard or off-duty.

The chest carries a mixed-technique artwork, with metallic flatlock stitching along the side seams for a bit of shine — sized for young riders in the same fabric as the adult version.
