The Equestro Running Martingale with Contrast Stitching is made from tanned leather and finished with contrasting stitching that lifts it just a little above a plain schooling martingale. The running design acts on the reins through rings at the end of the fork, discouraging the horse from raising its head past the point where the rider loses an effective contact. As with any running martingale, use rein stops — without them the rings can slide forward and catch on the bit rings.

All straps and buckles are adjustable for an accurate fit across pony, cob and full sizes, with a purpose-made clip to tidy the end of the adjustment strap.
