The Equestro Anatomical Leather Breastplate with Removable Martingale is a high-quality tanned leather breastplate that stops the saddle sliding backwards using stainless steel hooks attached directly to the saddle camber. The removable martingale keeps the horse's head from moving upwards by acting on the bit through the reins, which pass through a loop at the end.

Use the reins with rein stops (olives), or the martingale can slip forward and catch on the bit ring. Numerous holes on each buckle and hook make it straightforward to get a precise fit on any horse.
