CareSoft gel pads can be hand-washed in a bucket with a little detergent or machine washed in a wash bag at 30°C. Do not use harsh detergents. Do not tumble dry. Do not expose to direct heat.

The Acavallo withers free shape pad in suede and Hexagonal gel with rear riser, combines the non-slip, shock-absorbing and breathable properties of the Hexagonal gel with a lining in the lower part in suede.
The non-slip, shock-absorbing and hexagonal-shaped gel of this pad, combined in the lower part with suede fabric and with a 4mm thick internal open-cell foam, make it breathable, while maintaining maximum comfort on the horse's back.
Thanks to the hexagonal gel structure, the air is compressed inside the pad cells and is automatically expelled as the horse moves, creating an air cushion under the saddle, making it suitable for any style and size of English saddles.
The central part has a smaller thickness which allows it to adapt better to the withers and back of the horse, thus guaranteeing a greater space between the saddle and the gel which allows continuous air circulation.
Acavallo gel is hypoallergenic, non-toxic and does not react negatively in contact with the skin. Such features allow the pad to be used directly in contact with the horse's skin.

Withers Free Design

A sculpted cut-out channel at the front that completely eliminates pressure on the withers, giving the shoulders full freedom of movement. Available across Acavallo's gel, memory foam, and sheepskin technologies — the withers free shape can be combined with any core material.

What It Solves

Wither pressure, shoulder restriction, and saddle-fit issues around the wither area. The cut-out keeps the withers and spine completely free from compression, which is particularly important for horses with prominent withers or those that move with significant shoulder freedom.
