How to Measure for a Girth

With the saddle on your horse, measure from the middle hole of the girth straps on one side, under the belly, to the middle hole on the other side. This gives you the ideal girth length — the girth should fasten in the middle holes for maximum adjustment range.

The shaped girth sleeve in classic gel and faux sheepskin offers an ideal combination of comfort and performance for your horse.
This innovative shell combines the non-slip and shock-absorbing properties of the Acavallo classic gel with a faux sheepskin lining, designed to relieve the pressure of the girth on the horse's sensitive skin. Its contoured shape is designed to guarantee maximum freedom of movement for your horse.
The technical properties of the gel ensure flawless adherence, preventing any movement of the girth and providing optimal stability.
The faux sheepskin lining, in contact with the horse's skin, not only quickly absorbs moisture, but also prevents unwanted friction and chafing. This item protects the horse's sensitive skin, absorbing shock and preventing compression.
Attaching the shell to the girth is made quick and easy thanks to the four strategically-placed hook-and-loop closure with strips.
The Acavallo classic gel is renowned for its hypoallergenicity, non-toxicity and its non-reactive nature on the skin. These features allow the girth shell to be used directly in contact with the horse's skin, ensuring a discomfort-free riding experience.
