Girths are all measured from buckle to buckle.
The Pittsburgh Stretch takes the Pittsburgh dressage girth and adds elastic sections on both sides — allowing the girth to move with your horse's ribcage as it breathes and works. This extra give makes a real difference to comfort, particularly for horses that are sensitive in the girth area.
The same premium grained soft leather and anatomical shape as the standard Pittsburgh, with the added benefit of that bilateral elasticity. Available in both Black and Espresso, in sizes from 50cm to 80cm.

All Schockemohle girths are designed to last and made from premium quality leather and materials.
The best way to ensure that you get the most out of your Schockemohle girth is to keep them clean and store them in a dust-free, dry and cool place, alongside your other tack.
After using, your girth may be wet, sweaty and perhaps muddy or covered in sand/arena surfaces. This is a key time to give your girth a quick wipe down with a damp cloth, to remove any debris and sweat.
Periodically, to increase the longevity of your girth, it is recommended to use a good quality saddle soap to thoroughly clean grease and dirt from your girth, then apply a leather balm to prevent cracking and improve suppleness.
It is not recommended to over-use leather balms and not to apply oils to Schockemohle leatherwork as it can cause the leather to stretch and loosen, making changes to the size and length of the leatherwork over time.
