The Equestro Leather Running Martingale is a traditional tanned leather martingale that discourages the horse from carrying its head too high. The reins pass through a ring at the end of each fork strap, so the action only comes into play when the head goes above the point of control — the rest of the time it sits quietly. As with any running martingale, use rein stops — without them the rings can slide forward and catch on the bit rings.

Every strap and buckle is adjustable, so the martingale can be fitted accurately to ponies and horses alike. A neat keeper clip secures the end of the adjustment strap.
