CareSoft gel pads can be hand-washed in a bucket with a little detergent or machine washed in a wash bag at 30°C. Do not use harsh detergents. Do not tumble dry. Do not expose to direct heat.

The withers free shape Piuma pad with configurable pocket, front riser and double felt is an innovative solution in the equestrian industry.
Made with a double layer of eco-friendly felt, produced with low environmental impact technologies, it guarantees effective protection, insulating the horse from heat and cold.
One of the distinctive features of this product is its versatility. Thanks to the built-in configurable pocket, it is possible to customise the insert according to the specific needs of your horse.
This allows the rider to always find the optimal setup to maximise the horse's comfort and improve performance.
The core of the pad is made up of the Eva insert with front riser. EVA is a very light thermoplastic material that offers numerous benefits for both the horse and the rider.
Its low profile padding ensures minimal bulk under the saddle, allowing the horse to move with ease. Furthermore, thanks to a sophisticated ventilation and air circulation system, EVA is highly breathable, contributing to the well-being of the horse's back.

Piuma Featherlight Technology

Acavallo's lightweight line, built around EVA — an ultra-light thermoplastic material. The name 'Piuma' means 'feather' in Italian, and these pads weigh up to 20% less than standard Acavallo pads. The EVA features a multitude of small bulges with lateral holes that create active air circulation and a cushioning effect when compressed.

What It Solves

Bulk under the saddle, overheating, and excess weight. EVA provides cushioning and shock absorption with minimal thickness. Its ventilation system maintains airflow. Waterproof, non-toxic, and eco-friendly — EVA has a lower environmental impact than traditional foam.
