CareSoft gel pads can be hand-washed in a bucket with a little detergent or machine washed in a wash bag at 30°C. Do not use harsh detergents. Do not tumble dry. Do not expose to direct heat.

The withers free shape Piuma flat pad in suede with configurable pocket is specifically designed for horses with very pronounced withers and offers the possibility of being configured with an EVA insert.
It is ideal for young horses, whose muscles develop over time, or for those with particular muscle structures.
Through the pocket, it is possible to position the insert best suited to your horse's needs, allowing the rider to always find the optimal position in the saddle. The insert for this item is flat.
EVA is an innovative, extremely lightweight thermoplastic material, which offers numerous benefits for both horse and rider.
It guarantees low profile padding, reducing bulk under the saddle, but at the same time it is highly effective and breathable for the horse's back, thanks to a sophisticated ventilation and air circulation system.

Piuma Featherlight Technology

Acavallo's lightweight line, built around EVA — an ultra-light thermoplastic material. The name 'Piuma' means 'feather' in Italian, and these pads weigh up to 20% less than standard Acavallo pads. The EVA features a multitude of small bulges with lateral holes that create active air circulation and a cushioning effect when compressed.

What It Solves

Bulk under the saddle, overheating, and excess weight. EVA provides cushioning and shock absorption with minimal thickness. Its ventilation system maintains airflow. Waterproof, non-toxic, and eco-friendly — EVA has a lower environmental impact than traditional foam.
