How to Measure for a Girth

With the saddle on your horse, measure from the middle hole of the girth straps on one side, under the belly, to the middle hole on the other side. This gives you the ideal girth length — the girth should fasten in the middle holes for maximum adjustment range.

Acavallo's anatomical girths feature shaped designs that follow the horse's natural contours, reducing pressure points. Gel models include Acavallo's signature Classic Gel technology for additional shock absorption and anti-slip properties. Sheepskin-lined models provide extra comfort and help prevent rubs.

The jumping stud guard girth in gel classic and pvc offers an innovative design specifically designed to follow the natural movement of the horse, guaranteeing maximum freedom of movement and comfort.
Made with high quality materials, it combines the unique features of gel classic and pvc to offer superior performance.
This girth is carefully designed to ensure an anatomical and stable fit. The combination of Acavallo gel classic and expanded polyvinyl chloride (PVC) offers non-slip and cushioning properties.
The gel helps stabilize the saddle, preventing unwanted forward, backward and sideways movement, improving the horse's overall comfort and performance. Furthermore, the gel absorbs pressure and prevents possible skin irritation, ensuring the well-being of the horse.
Equipped with elastic bands on both sides, the girth distributes pressure evenly for optimal comfort. Three additional D-rings allow you to attach equipment such as bibs or martingales. The elastics, made with a structure of three double elastics assembled together, guarantee durability and stability over time.
Both the Acavallo gel classic and pvc are materials of the finest quality. The gel is hypoallergenic, non-toxic and gentle on the skin, making direct contact possible. Pvc is elastic and resistant, scratch resistant and easy to clean, even machine washable, and eco-friendly as totally recyclable.
