How to Measure for a Girth

With the saddle on your horse, measure from the middle hole of the girth straps on one side, under the belly, to the middle hole on the other side. This gives you the ideal girth length — the girth should fasten in the middle holes for maximum adjustment range.

Acavallo Girth Features

Acavallo's anatomical girths feature shaped designs that follow the horse's natural contours, reducing pressure points. Gel models include Acavallo's signature Classic Gel technology for additional shock absorption and anti-slip properties. Sheepskin-lined models provide extra comfort and help prevent rubs.

The jumping girth offers a ground-breaking design that follows the anatomy of the horse, ensuring maximum freedom and comfort.
Made of Gel and PVC with stainless steel buckles, this anatomical accessory combines the non-slip and shock-absorbing properties of Acavallo gel with the resistance of polyvinyl chloride (PVC).
Its ability to stabilize the saddle and prevent unwanted movement improves the horse's well-being and performance. In addition, the gel absorbs pressure and protects the skin from irritation.
Featuring elastic bands on both sides to equalize pressure, the girth also features three sturdy D-rings for equipment such as breastplates or martingales. The elastics, made up of three double bands assembled together, ensure a firm and stable hold.
The Acavallo Gel Classic used is hypoallergenic, non-toxic and safe for the skin, allowing direct contact without unwanted reactions.
In addition, PVC, an elastic and resistant material, is perfect for equestrian products, thanks to its resistance to scratches, ease of cleaning and machine washing.
Furthermore, it is a completely 100% recyclable material, guaranteeing a positive ecological footprint.
